The Marshall County Soil and Water Conservation District (SWCD) offers a full service tree program including planning (location, design and species type), ordering, planting and mechanical maintenance. We also offer tree shelters and animal repellant (deer and rabbits).
We have state cost share available with a priority on field windbreaks. If an individual is applying for state cost share, we do ask that the site be prepared prior to planting to ensure the best survival rate possible.
Our tree stock is conservation grade, bare root, and locally grown for cold hardiness. We have various sizes of shrub and tree species that are sold in bundles of 25. Potted spruce are sold individually.
